Problem

How do i change the from keyboard to controller?

Solution

Fuel only officially supports the Xbox 360 controller. Other controllers may work, but we cannot guarantee this unfortunately.

To change the controller settings, access the options menu and then choose - controls - layout.

To change the setting for each action, press enter then select the button on your controller that you wish to use for this action. Do this for all actions that you want to change or use your controller for.

Once complete, you can return to the main menu and you should be able to use your new controller configuration.

Problem

I get a BSOD (blue screen) because usbstor.sys is crashing

Solution

Sending a specific command to a USB drive might cause the Microsoft usbstor.sys driver to crash. Please safely remove any attached USB CD/DVD/BD drives then unplug them. As an alternative please download this updated game executable which contains a workaround:

1.Open the folder where you have installed FUEL on your hard disc.
2.Rename the seculauncher.exe' to 'seculauncher.exe.OLD' in the folder above (Right-click on this executable and go down to 'rename')
3.Download the correct zip-archive for your version:
◦EU Version: http://download.securom.com/support/003904/fuel.zip
◦Russian Version: http://download.securom.com/support/004014/fuel.zip
4.Extract the new 'seculauncher.exe' from the downloaded zip-archive into the folder where you have installed FUEL on your hard disc.
5.Start the new 'seculauncher.exe'
