From now on, we will reserve a regular maintenance window to take place every Tuesday, 9am - 12pm GMT. During this time the game servers and potentially the player accounts system will be down/offline. Thank you for your cooperation.

Do the servers have a name?

Yes. They are Keeper and Devourer.

Are European players able to play on US servers and vice versa?

The billing and game serving operations are separate. This means that you can play on the assigned territory of the version of the game you bought. It is impossible to play on European servers with an American version and vice versa.

Are there any role-playing servers?

There aren't any official role-playing servers however the players have elected Boldrei as their un-official RP server.

Is the Login server via Codemasters network, or the game is simply linked to local servers after a generic log in?

The login, patching and actual game worlds are all part of Codemasters' own hosting service. The billing and accounts are also entirely separate so at no point do you "dial in" to Turbine’s servers in the US.
