The World

One of the continents in the world of Eberron, Xen’drik is largely unknown to most. With its various landscapes ranging from thick, overgrown jungles to majestic mountain ranges and barren, empty deserts it’s almost as if the land is purposely hiding its secrets from adventurers and treasure-seekers. Its vast expanse plays host to almost every type of terrain and climate, yet many have still to be encountered… It’s a world of extreme opposites, awesome natural beauty and terrible darkness.

Xen’drik is a continent of mysteries, filled with weird and wonderful beasts of all sorts. It is said that giants once ruled the land but they have long since been conquered and imprisoned within the Khyber. Their legacy of arcane magic and powerful magical secrets lie waiting to be discovered, re-learned and used against enemies. If action and adventure are for you, then you will find these in abundance on Xen’drik.

Stormreach

The port city of Stormreach is the gateway to Xen’drik. A bustling, diverse city filled with all types of races and peoples. This central trading post attracts many travellers and immigrants alike, all in search of their own destiny. In the past it was renowned as a pirate’s port. Stormreach’s geographical location made an excellent base for pirates to operate out of.

Pirate activity was later ended by the dragonmarked houses who, as well as protecting their own interests, sought to make the city a safer place for scholars and adventurers to travel to.

Whilst still considered a frontier city today, Stormreach has now established itself as a thriving, prosperous settlement.

Stormreach is sometimes referred to as the City of Dungeons due to the numerous caverns that lie beneath its surface as well as the various ruin sites that lie above ground. As you travel around the different houses, you’ll pass by some of the ancient giant’s ruins. A spectacular sight, covered in immense pieces of rubble, old carvings and fragments of statues.

The city is alive in every sense of the word, the races, the nationalities, the trade, the smells, sights and sounds, the arcane obelisks, fountains and the very magic that supports some parts of the city will astonish and delight you. Enjoy your travels!
