What Does This Mean
Game Ratings

All of our games are certified by PEGI (most European countries), USK (Germany), ESRB (United States of America) or OFLC (Australia). You will see these ratings prominently displayed on the front and back of the game's packaging and also in the game's advertising.

ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) Ratings

In the USA our games carry an ESRB rating and are rated in accordance to the strict guidelines ESRB recommend. These are here to help parents make informed decisions on buying interactive video games.

Designed to ensure that minors are not exposed to games that are unsuitable for their particular age group, the ESRB ratings system is supported by the major console manufacturers, including Sony (PlayStation), Microsoft (Xbox) and Nintendo, as well as by publishers and developers.

These are the age certificates you will see on the box of your video game:

Early Childhood
Everyone
Everyone 10+
Teen
Mature
Adults Only
Rating Pending

These indicate the age from which a game is suitable.

ESRB also recommends we use content descriptors to indicate what (if any) content a game contains. This text appears in a bordered box next to the age certificate.
