The earth is dying and the race to find a new home planet has begun as Perimeter, the epic sci-fi RTS title, launches across Europe* today, May 21st, exclusively for PC.
Gamers can also experience Perimeter’s innovative multiplayer strategies in the new multiplayer PC demo available from www.codemasters.co.uk/perimeter (in Downloads) later this afternoon.
The new demo includes a tutorial and two maps for 4-player tactical battles over LAN or online. With Perimeter’s new gameplay tactics – terraforming, nanomorphing and the use of a force shield – all in play, multiplayer RTS gaming has never been so competitive or challenging.
The game, created by Russian companies 1C Company and KD-LAB and awarded "Best PC Game" and "Best Game Design" at the Russian Game Developers Conference earlier this year, has also received PC Gamer’s Game of the Month award and PC Zone UK’s Essential Award.
Perimeter is published today by Codemasters for PC and the new multiplayer demo, along with the single-player demo and movies, is now available from www.codemasters.co.uk/perimeter
