Work
began on the new Touring Car title - then TOCA 3. Looking
at all the racing genres and top selling motor racing
titles, the journey to find Racing Nirvana began. As with
all good games, design is the key element to make a hit
game, excellent graphics and programming is expected as
a matter of course for a game hitting the shelves in the
new Millennium.
TOCA 1 and 2 had been AAA titles in their own right, immensely
popular, frighteningly realistic and absolutely compelling.
How could we follow such a pair of class acts?
Many ideas were born, driver endorsed tracks, career mode,
fictitious racing circuits, until the perfect concept
was discovered. |
