A steady flow of reinforcements: troop transports to Africa
Today, the former British PM formally surrenders to the Chancellor of the German Reich.
Just four months after the conclusive French defeat in June, resistance in Western Europe is now completely demolished.

The Luftwaffe’s grueling attacks on Royal Air Force bases during the summer months decisively paved the way for the defeat of the RAF, which was considered absolute in late October at the Battle of Britain. Once air supremacy had been achieved it was only a small step for the Fuhrer and his strategists to successfully complete Operation Sea Lion, the invasion of Britain. The Wehrmacht swept through small pockets of British resistance still demoralized by the tragic events at Dunkirk and unable to prevent the invasion. After a mere 48 hours, the Oberkommando des Heeres announced the occupation of London.

During these crucial months of war, Great Britain lacked the charismatic and strong political leadership needed to inspire the British people with new hope. Chamberlain, having singularly failed to rally his people towards resistance, formally surendered to the Chancellor of the Reich at Westminster.

Now nothing stands in the way of the German aggressors’ expansionist drive towards the East. Following the formal surrender, a puppet government controlled from Berlin is expected to be installed in London soon.

Chancellor of the Reich Promises “Blood, Sweat and Tears”
"From this day on, Great Britain is part of the Great German Reich," the Chancellor of the Reich announced today at Westminster, during the celebrations to mark the capitulation of the British Government. "This bestows the rights and duties of German nationals on the citizens of the former Commonwealth." In a speech delivered in the former Upper House of Parliament, he said that in the wake of one of the greatest battles in history, he had nothing to offer the vanquished but "blood, sweat and tears": great sacrifices were still required to establish a unified Europe under German supremacy. After many long months of war and suffering, in which he exacted a heavy price from his own people, another major step toward this goal had been taken. He expressed his intention to pursue the war by land, sea and in the air with all his might and strength, for "there is no survival for the German people without victory".
