The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit will be celebrating 50 years of racing in 2002.
Originally designed in 1956 the circuit was rebuilt extensively for the 1989 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. The fast flowing circuit design has been
basically unchanged. The circuit hosts two international motorcycle events [Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix and the Superbike World Championship] and a
full program of national events. |
